    Appearance
    A translucent, light amber colour.

    Nose
Gristy and barleyed initially on the nose, it develops more softly to a sweet, spiced character, with damp freshly cut grass – and later with barley sugar.

    Palate
Its palate is clean, still with a spicy tang, carrying also a more distinct barley sugar quality.

    Finish
Running to a finish, drier than anticipated, still spiced, which then tails sweeter again.
