This Speyside malt was distilled in 1995 and bottled from a single sherry butt by Douglas McGibbon & Co as part of their Provenance range.

Douglas McGibbon and Co. are the Glasgow based sister company of Douglas Laing & Co. They are independent bottlers and blenders headed by brothers, Fred and Stewart Laing. The 'Provenance' collection bottled under the label ‘The McGibbons’ highlights the particular distillation of the seasons through Spring/Summer/ Autumn/Winter.
Appearance
Light gold.
Nose
Warm fruit compote spiced up with cinnamon, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg on the nose.
Palate
The palate is distinctly fruity, having been finished in a sherry cask. It carries gristy, citric notes throughout which lead to a spicy finish.
Finish
This dries long and smokey with a hint of ginger.
